Job Purpose:
The Real Estate Council of Greater Fort Worth is seeking a Director of Market Intelligence & Storytelling to lead REC’s brand, communications, and market intelligence efforts. This role is responsible for strengthening REC’s public presence, deepening member value, and ensuring the organization consistently delivers timely, relevant, and visually polished content across all platforms. This position oversees the implementation of key strategic plan initiatives, including expanded social media presence, member-led engagement channels, intelligence-driven communications, and enhanced event presentation and promotion. Director of Market Intelligence & Storytelling works closely with the Executive Director, the Director of Events and Leadership Development, committee leadership, and event teams to ensure REC’s messaging, visuals, and voice are aligned, professional, and impactful. The ideal candidate understands commercial real estate, has strong editorial instincts, and is equally comfortable setting strategy and executing details.
Quindigo Management Responsibilities:

Attend Quindigo Management staff meetings.
Be available from 8-5 and during evenings and weekends as dictated by your client.
Real Estate Council of Greater Fort Worth Responsibilities:
GOAL 1: Strategic Communications & Brand Leadership
Lead REC’s overall communications and marketing strategy in alignment with the organization’s strategic plan.
Ensure consistency of voice, messaging, and visual identity across all platforms.
Position REC as a trusted source of commercial real estate insight in Fort Worth and Tarrant County.
Identify opportunities to elevate REC’s profile with members, partners, media, and the broader business community.
Write and distribute press releases; maintain media relationships.
Managing digital ad, ad deadlines, and submissions
Hands-on creation of social graphics, ads, Annual Report, and event collateral
GOAL 2: Digital & Member Engagement Strategy
Strengthen REC’s LinkedIn strategy and oversee the launch and growth of Instagram.
Develop content plans that balance event promotion, market insight, member value, and thought leadership.
Support the creation and organization of member-led Slack channels by market sector.
Establish guidelines and light moderation to ensure channels remain active, useful, and aligned with REC’s mission.
GOAL 3: Market Intelligence & Editorial Content
Oversee the creation of a monthly, intelligence-focused e-newsletter distinct from event promotions.
Develop regular market intelligence briefs covering:
Active and proposed projects
Market trends and asset-type insights
Policy and regulatory impacts on development
Work with committees, members, and external sources to gather timely, credible information.
Translate complex market and policy information into clear, accessible content.
GOAL 4: Event Marketing, Design & Promotion
Oversee all event marketing and visual presentation across REC programs, including:
General Meetings
Fireside Chats
Cowtown Poker Run
Tarrant County Commercial Real Estate Forecast
Annual Celebration
Scott Walker Memorial Golf Tournament
Member Get-Togethers
YLC Events, including Mentoring Series, Breakfast Clubs, Dodgeball Tournament, and Panther Den
Assist with implementation of REC programs and small events including in person support.
Working with REC staff and volunteers to tease out themes for major events and come up with the overall brand kit including event logos, social media posts, event swag, powerpoints, event emails, sponsor signage, name badges, and onsite-materials, Ensure events are graphically polished and cohesive.
Manage timelines and deliverables for event promotion to members and the public.
Create all event copy for pre- and post-event blog posts, LinkedIN event pages, social media posts, ads, and emails advertising this event
Coordinate sponsor recognition across digital, print, and on-site materials.
Multimedia storytelling - Work with REC staff and volunteers on event video creation, storyboarding, scripting, filming day planning, and publishing for The Poker Run, Forecast, Annual Celebration, Dodgeball Tournament, and Panther Den
GOAL 5: Email & Ongoing Communications
Oversee REC’s weekly e-news and events emails
Ensure content is timely, well-organized, and member-focused.
Balance promotional content with intelligence, updates, and value-driven messaging.
Monitor performance metrics and adjust strategies accordingly.
Regularly update and maintain content on the REC website.
Facilitate annual website refreshes
Manage REC’s BITLY landing page for online ads
Oversee REC of GFW’s Youtube channel
GOAL 6: Collaboration & Support
Work closely with the Executive Director and staff to align communications with organizational priorities.
Support committees and volunteer leaders with messaging, graphics, and promotional needs.
Coordinate with external vendors, designers, photographers, and printers as needed.
Build & manage content calendars, asset libraries, and maintain brand standards.
Goal of planning content 3-6 weeks in advance
Minimum Qualifications:
Experience in organizing and coordinating various types of events.
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, public relations, or a related field preferred
Experience working in or adjacent to commercial real estate, economic development, or professional associations strongly preferred
Strong writing and editorial skills with the ability to distill complex information clearly
Experience managing social media strategy and email communications
Comfort overseeing design, branding, and visual presentation (hands-on design skills a plus, but not required)
Highly organized with strong project management skills

While this position is mostly a remote position, physical requirements include lifting, standing, and walking during events, as well as traveling to event locations and conferences.
The employee may be asked to perform other duties as required by business needs.
Tools and Software Requirements:
Airtable, QuickBooks, Wix, Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, Gmail, Slack, Zoom, Dropbox, Quindigo Calendar, Yet Another Mail Merge (YAMM), Canva, and LastPass will be used for event management, budgeting, communication, and reporting. Proficiency with these tools is required for the successful execution of job duties.
Employee is responsible for providing personal equipment, such as a phone, computer, and printer, to perform job-related tasks.
Additional Notes:
The Director of Market Intelligence & Storytelling will receive bonuses for exceptional performance. These bonuses will be negotiated between Quindigo Management, the client, and the employee annually.
The role will involve regular communication and collaboration with the rest of the Quindigo Team, client chapters/committees and board members to ensure the successful execution of activities and events.

Compensation
$50,000 - $65,000 Annually, paid out monthly - Salary commensurate with experience, with the potential for additional bonuses.

The association has developed a relationship with the City of Fort Worth and is now considered the go-to resource for questions and answers regarding commercial real estate development. REC of GFW conducts four major events annually, the Real Estate Forecast in January, the Scott Walker Memorial Golf Tournament in May, The Annual Celebration in August and the Cowtown Poker Run in October. In between times they plan and conduct general meetings, support the work of young professionals and work on advocacy issues that help make Tarrant County, Fort Worth and Arlington one of the most livable cities in the country.
