Job Purpose: The North Texas Roofing Contractors Association is seeking an energetic, organized, and relationship-driven Director of Member Engagement to support membership growth, member retention, industry education, and association engagement. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, coordinating events, creating communications, and helping members feel connected and supported. The Director of Member Engagement will play a key role in strengthening the association's impact through consistent member communication, engaging programming, and exceptional customer service. This position serves as a primary point of contact for NTRCA members and prospective members while supporting the planning and execution of association programs, educational events, communications, and engagement initiatives. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, personable, and comfortable managing multiple ongoing projects independently while collaborating closely with the Executive Director, Events Director, board members, committees, sponsors, and industry professionals.
Position Overview
The Director of Member Engagement serves as a primary point of contact for NTRCA members and prospective members while supporting the planning and execution of association programs, educational events, communications, and engagement initiatives.
This position requires someone who is highly organized, proactive, personable, and comfortable managing multiple ongoing projects independently while collaborating closely with the Executive Director, Events Director, board members, committees, sponsors, and industry professionals.
Key Responsibilities
Membership Engagement & Growth
Perform membership recruitment and retention efforts
Manage member renewal campaigns and follow-up communication
Process membership applications efficiently and coordinate board approval processes
Support current members in recruiting prospective members
Conduct follow-up communication with membership prospects
Help raise Consumer Awareness Funds
Serve as a responsive and professional point of contact for members and consumers
Assist with member onboarding and engagement initiatives
Maintain accurate membership information in Airtable, Wix, and other systems
Prepare monthly membership and engagement reports for the Board of Directors
Events & Educational Programs
Coordinate and support NTRCA educational and networking events including:
Approximately 10 Lunch & Learns annually
Quarterly Elevate trainings
Quarterly Accreditation Workshops
3–4 member networking events annually
Responsibilities include:
Coordinating venues, sponsors, trainers, and logistics
Communicating with speakers, sponsors, committee members, and attendees
Managing Zoom participation for hybrid events
Managing registration and attendee support
Creating nametags and event materials
Performing setup and cleanup at events
Following up with attendees after events
Uploading educational recordings to YouTube and photos to website
Marketing & Communications
Draft and distribute weekly e-news communications
Create promotional copy for emails, blogs, event pages, and marketing campaigns
Develop event graphics and promotional materials using Canva
Set up events in Airtable and Wix
Coordinate promotional efforts including email campaigns and text message alerts for membership and trainings
Collaborate with the Executive Director and Events Director on marketing strategy and event promotion
Sponsorship & Relationship Management
Assist in securing event sponsors in partnership with the Executive Director and Events Director
Maintain positive relationships with sponsors, trainers, members, and industry partners
Help ensure sponsor outreach is coordinated strategically across events and initiatives
Qualifications
Preferred candidates will possess:
Strong organizational and project management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Experience coordinating events, programs, or member engagement activities
Customer service or relationship management experience
Ability to work independently in a remote environment
Strong attention to detail and follow-through
Comfort learning and utilizing technology platforms
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Experience in roofing, construction, or association management is not required. We are looking for someone eager to learn, contribute, and grow with the organization.
Schedule & Expectations
Full-time position averaging approximately 40 hours per week
Seasonal busy periods may occasionally require additional hours
Standard availability during business hours (9:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
Approximately six evening events annually
Travel throughout the DFW Metroplex required for meetings and events
Position is remote/work-from-home
Compensation & Benefits
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the functions.
While this position is mostly a remote position, physical requirements include lifting, standing, and walking during events, as well as traveling to event locations and conferences.
The employee may be asked to perform other duties as required by business needs.
Tools and Software Requirements:
Airtable, QuickBooks, Wix, Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, Gmail, Slack, Zoom, Dropbox, Quindigo Calendar, Yet Another Mail Merge (YAMM), Canva, and LastPass will be used for event management, budgeting, communication, and reporting. Proficiency with these tools is required for the successful execution of job duties.
Employee is responsible for providing personal equipment, such as a phone, computer, and printer, to perform job-related tasks.
Additional Notes:
The Director of Membership Engagement will receive bonuses for exceptional performance. These bonuses will be negotiated between Quindigo Management, the client, and the employee annually.
The role will involve regular communication and collaboration with the rest of the Quindigo Team, client chapters/committees and board members to ensure the successful execution of activities and events.

Compensation
$50,000 - $65,000 Annually, paid out monthly - Salary commensurate with experience, with the potential for additional bonuses.
